"The T.A.M.I. Show"

The Santa Monica Civic was the location for filming "The T.A.M.I. Show" (American International, 1964). The title stood for Teen Age Music International. Here the MCs Jan and Dean are skateboarding in to their gig. 
 
The film features Lesley Gore, the Beach Boys, the Rolling Stones, the Barbarians, the Blossoms, Marvin Gaye, Chuck Berry, James Brown and the Flames, Billy J. Kramer and the Dakotas, the Supremes, Smokey Robinson and the Miracles, Gerry and the Pacemakers. And Teri Garr as one of the go-go dancers. Steve Binder directed the Electronovision production. Jim Kilgore got the credit as cinematographer.
