"Tinseltown"

 

A small town girl comes to Hollywood to try her luck at becoming a movie star in "Tinseltown" (Broadmore Releasing, 1980). And, of course, when she gets off the bus the first shots we get are views of her walking in front of Grauman's Chinese and the adjacent Chinese Twin. This porno film features Ashley Brooks, Danielle Raye and Tawny Pearl. Carter Stevens directed and shot the film.  

 

 

 

A moment later in the shot it's revealed that the film in the big house is "Serial" with Martin Mull and Tuesday Weld. It played from March 29 to April 24, 1980. 

 

 

The signage on the Twin is advertising the March 1980 release "Little Darlings" with Tatum O'Neal and Kristy McNichol.
