"A Night at the Roxbury"

The building used as the exterior of the Roxbury night club that Will Farrell and Chris Kattan desperately want to get into in John Fortenberry's film "A Night at the Roxbury" (Paramount, 1998). It's actually a club called Billboard Live at 9039 Sunset Blvd. It's now called 1 Oak.

When the guys do manage to get inside, we're at the Mayan Theatre, 1038 S. Hill St.

At the back of the main floor.

Looking toward the stage.

Sitting down at a table near the stage for a chat with the owner. The boys want a club of their own.

 Madness on the dance floor.

See the pages about the Mayan Theatre on the Los Angeles Theatres site for a history of the building and several hundred photos.
