"Wedlock"

We get a look at the Los Angeles Theatre, 615 S. Broadway, in the TV movie "Wedlock" (HBO, 1991).  The State Theatre is down the street at 7th. It's a tale about a pair of prisoners outfitted with explosive collars who escape and go looking for a pot of money. Thanks to Eric Schaefer for spotting the theatre and getting the screenshot. He notes that it's set sometime in a near future where "Graffiti Bridge" and "Marked For Death" are still playing.

Lewis Teague directed the film, also known as "Deadlock." It stars Mimi Rogers, Rutger Hauer and Joan Chen.

For a history of the 1931 vintage movie palace and many photos see the pages about the Los Angeles Theatre on the Los Angeles Theatres site.
