"Rock Hudson: All That Heaven Allowed"

"Giant" at Grauman's Chinese. The film premiered on October 17, 1956 and went on to a ten week run.  It's a shot from archival footage appearing in "Rock Hudson: All That Heaven Allowed" (HBO, 2023). Stephen Kijak directed the documentary.    

 

 

A c.1962 shot from footage shot at Hollywood and Highland with the Hollywood Theatre, 6764 Hollywood Blvd., running "Breakfast at Tiffany's" and "The World of Suzie Wong."  Both films had played the their first-run engagements at the Chinese. "Tiffany's" had an 8 week run beginning October 17, 1961. "Suzie" had a 13 week run beginning December 15, 1960.
