The Pasadena Civic Auditorium was used for some of the concert scenes in John Carney's "Power Ballad" (Lionsgate, 2026). For the sequences in several different venues including the Forum and Madison Square Garden we get shots looking into a darkened auditorium and the front of the balcony is recognizable.
The film stars Paul Rudd, Nick Jonas, Havana Rose Liu, Beth Fallon, Marcella Plunkett, Peter McDonald, Rory Keenan, Paul Reid and Keith McErlean. The cinematography was by Yaron Orbach.
